In ideal conditions I failed to find any rare gems in a walk round Lancing Ring and Cowbottom Hovel. The same as yesterday, but I did come across 2 male Brimstone, my first for a while. Also 28 Clouded Yellow, 27 Wall, 11 Common Blue, 7 Speckled Wood, 4 Small Heath, 3 Small Copper, 3 Red Admiral, Peacock, Painted Lady, Large White, a few Small White, 3 Humming-bird Hawk-moth. The Equinox is tomorrow, so all butterflies from now on are a bonus!
