Walked from Newick to Lewes on the Ouse Valley trail. Curiously for a lot of the walk the river is not in sight, but where it was there were four Clouded Yellows and along the section between Isfield and Barcombe Mills there were plenty of Small Heath. Speckled Wood unsurprisingly were in evidence in the shaded woodland sections and Red Admiral on the buddleia. Plus a few Small White and a hummingbird hawkmoth.
